After four years of university, I realised that all the knowledge gained didn't really satisfy me when it came to the question of how we can live more sustainably. I thought that the best way to acquire more understanding of how we should source our food was to go farming. Because winter was in full force on the northern hemisphere, and therefore farming rather difficult I packed my bag and went to South America. After working on several organic farms I can definitely say that I am much more knowledgeable and sensitive of our general food systems.
